Krøll was established in 1955 and has since then been amongst the leading manufacturers of quality tower cranes for heavy construction, shipyards, power plants and other specialised areas.
In 1978 Krøll designed and manufactured the world's largest tower crane, the K10000, which was used for the construction of nuclear power plants. In total 15 units were delivered, 13 of which went to the UUSR. These cranes are now involved in various projects globally. Since then Krøll has specialised in heavy duty tower cranes and is today the world leader in this field, delivering cranes for heavy construction, shipyards, power plants and other specialised areas.
Our products range from 70t/m to 25,000t/m and no matter what size crane, Krøll maintains the highest manufacturing standards and top of the range technology. With more than 40 years of experience in crane manufacturing, Krøll Cranes A/S is one of the leading companies in the field of high capacity tower cranes (800tm to 25,000tm), which are especially suited for construction of e.g. power plants, dams, tunnels, large buildings, shipyards.
