Forge's Subsidiary Wins Around $12 Million Contract For Gorgon Project In Australia

Cimeco Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Forge Group Limited (Forge), has entered into an agreement with Chevron Australia Pty Ltd (Chevron) for the refurbishment of a terminal tank on Barrow Island. The contract value of the project is estimated to be about $12 million and will commence in November 2009.

The Gorgon project is a joint venture between the Australian subsidiaries of Chevron Corporation (operator), Exxon Mobil Corporation and Royal Dutch Shell Plc, to develop the Greater Gorgon gas fields, located between 130 kilometers and 200 kilometers off the north-west coast of Western Australia. The Greater Gorgon gas fields contain resources of about 40 trillion cubic feet of gas.
