Cimarex Energy Appoints Harold Logan As New Director

Cimarex Energy Co. has appointed Harold R. Logan to its board. Logan is a co-founder and director of Basic Materials and Services LLC. He also held the position of co-founder of TransMontaigne (Denver, Colorado) in 1995 and chief financial officer, executive vice president, treasurer and a director during 2002. From 1987 to 1995, Logan was senior vice president/finance, chief financial officer and director of Associated Natural Gas Corporation.
Logan will contest in the election by the stockholders at the company’s annual meeting held in 2010.

Earlier to that, Logan was with Dillon Read & Co. Inc. and Rothschild, Inc. Logan at present serves as chairman of the board of supervisors of Suburban Propane Partners, L.P. and as a director of Graphic Packaging Corporation, both NYSE companies. He also served as a director of Hart Energy Publishing LLC.
Logan holds B.S. degree in Economics, from Oklahoma State University. He additionally received M.B.A. in finance from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
